Training: Developing Tablet PC Applications
1. Aims and objectives
The Tablet PC is the latest in a series of steps towards
creating electronic paper. With the reduction in cost of
processing power and increase in software complexity the
features made available on the Tablet PC platform can change
the way we interface with our computers.
The two day course consists of discussions of Tablet PC
technologies and 50% of the time will be spent in hands
on exercises where the attendee can gain real experience
developing Tablet PC aware technology. This helps to reinforce
an understanding of how to best utilise this technology.
To get the most out of this course attendees should be
experienced programmers with some exposure to either
VB.NET or C#. An understanding of component based design
and development would be advantageous.
Please
ask if you you need Dr. Neil to supply Tablet PC's
